I love people and visited frequently in all kinds of circumstances as all pastors did in those days. I was known to spend much time in study. I read through my bible every year (now 50 times). I read commentaries for sermons, periodicals (mostly Christians) for personal enjoyment and knowledge, mostly Christian books about church growth, pastoring, books on the Second Coming of Christ along with doctrinal matters and current issues in the church world. I wrote manuscripts for most of my sermons, having a love for writing, as well as preaching. Perhaps it is only vanity speaking, but I believe I have an assortment of, not only sermons that most would be familiar with, but many that would be worth hearing, that few will likely ever hear!
