Deception is so rampant in America it seems normal. Pages could be written describing deception and the damage it does. Jesus warned us not to be deceived about the age. If multitudes are being deceived, and those that are deceived confidently deceive others (II Timothy 3:13) as the scripture teaches, we are in a very precarious situation. Currently we live in a society that does not know what truth is. Evil is called good, and good is called evil. Such practice makes everything around us appear uncertain and unworthy of trust. It has created chaos in the world. Truth is the bedrock of any human institution. However, many cannot trust their mates, some cannot trust their banks, some catch discrepancies in employers, and in many other transactions that require trust. People are dishonest in their relationships and interaction with others. Where will this lead other than turbulence in society?
