Explanation of Why You Need to be Saved

$3.00

This tract takes a person through the fact that there are three different kinds of death every man experiences if he is not saved. The first death is that we are born dead and do not know the Lord. The second is the physical death when our soul separates from our body. The third is an eternal death that we experience if we do not trust Christ for salvation.

Each is explained and the plan of salvation is provided as well.

Essentially this means that you are born dead. Yes! You are born dead because you are not in fellowship with God (Ephesians 2:1). But it means more than this. Without God you are alone in a deteriorating (dying) body. Another result of Adam’s disobedience, then, was that his body became corrupt. Under the curse of God he would return to dust (Genesis 3:19). And God literally drove Adam and Eve from the Garden to keep them away from the “Tree of Life” that would have kept them eternally healthy (Genesis 3:24). This would be the second phase of Adam’s death. This is the death we are most familiar with. This is what we see occur and why we have to dispose of bodies in the cemetery.

It is frightening to think that we would not know anything about the first phase of death, or the last phase of death, (which I have not developed yet) without the Bible.

Death is a mysterious and apprehensive thought without Divine Revelation. And we might be able to cope with it except for one thing. WHAT HAPPENS after we die?
